Computer Science at De Montfort University
I'm a graduate data analyst/scientist with an MSc in Advanced AI from Univeristy College Dublin and a First Class BSc from De Montford University. I like checking what a number really means before anyone acts on it. In a retail project, sales looked healthy while one discount band was losing money overall. In a simulated retention experiment, the estimated benefit looked positive, but the uncertainty included losses, so I recommended against rolling it out. I work mostly in SQL, Python and Power BI, and I try to explain results in plain English, including their limits. Based in Dublin, with UK right to work and open to relocating to London.
I built a customer retention decision-support system using 1.28 million synthetic transactions across 25,000 customers, combining churn prediction, uplift modelling and budget-constrained targeting. I evaluated the proposed strategy on 10,000 additional simulated customers and estimated a £3,800…
I built a SQL reporting workflow and three-page Power BI dashboard to analyse 10,194 transactions from a real public retail dataset, covering sales, profitability, customer behaviour and discounting. The analysis identified that transactions with discounts above 50% had a negative aggregate profit…
I built an end-to-end cloud analytics pipeline using Python, BigQuery, dbt and Power BI to transform over 1.55 million records from a real public e-commerce dataset into reliable business reporting. The system includes automated data-quality checks and dashboards for sales, customers and delivery…
