What I’m Studying I’m currently focused on building a strong foundation in IT and cybersecurity, especially in areas like networking, system administration, and security fundamentals. I’m actively learning how modern IT environments work — from operating systems and cloud platforms to security controls and incident response concepts. My Interests - Cybersecurity (SOC, GRC, threat detection, risk management) - IT support and troubleshooting - Network security and system hardening - Understanding how organisations protect data and maintain resilience - Learning practical tools used in real workplaces Skills I’m Actively Building - Technical troubleshooting across Windows, networks, and common enterprise tools - Understanding security frameworks, vulnerabilities, and basic incident response - Hands‑on familiarity with SIEM concepts, logs, and alert triage - Strong communication and documentation skills - Analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving - Professional discipline: learning fast, adapting quickly, and working methodically My Ambitions My goal is to start in an IT Support or Junior SOC Analyst role and grow into a cybersecurity professional. I want to contribute to secure, well‑run systems while continuously improving my technical depth. Long‑term, I aim to specialise in governance, risk, and compliance or SOC operations, helping organisations strengthen their security posture.
