Computer Science at The University of Aberdeen
I’m currently completing an MSc in Information Technology at the University of Aberdeen, where I’m developing a solid technical and analytical foundation in software engineering, data systems, and human-centred computing. My interests sit at the intersection of data analytics, backend development, and systems design. I enjoy solving real-world problems using technology, especially in areas such as automation, digital platforms, user experience, and scalable server-side systems. I’m constantly drawn to projects that blend logical system architecture with meaningful user impact. My ambition is to build a career where I can design intelligent systems, develop efficient server-side applications, and transform complex data into valuable insights. Long-term, I hope to contribute to innovative solutions in financial technology, digital public services, and consumer-focused platforms that simplify everyday life. At the moment, I’m expanding my technical toolkit and actively strengthening: Skills I’m building Python for software development, automation, and data analysis SQL & database modelling for structured, normalized data systems Django & Node.js/Express for backend and full-stack web development RESTful APIs & server integration for scalable applications UI/UX & HCI principles for intuitive, user-focused experiences Real-time systems using tools like Socket.IO I’m also deepening my understanding of cloud-aware and data-driven development, focusing on how modern systems handle large-scale data, integration, and deployment. I thrive in environments that value curiosity, creativity, and impact, and I’m always open to collaborating on ideas and projects that push boundaries.
