I've shipped several games solo and in small teams, and I build the tooling behind them too, from a custom asset pipeline that automates 3D-to-sprite conversion for a mobile title to a node-based narrative editor I built for my own thesis, then watched a collaborator use independently to write an entire game's story.
A browser-based game built solo for a BSc module, where the level itself is the main obstacle rather than anything the player fights directly. Three hand-designed levels are built around bombs that detonate over time, causing platforms to fall or swing, which gradually cuts off access to…
A third-person platformer built around a pogo stick as the core traversal mechanic, developed with a designer for the Approaches to Play module. I was sole programmer, working from mechanics briefs and level layouts the designer defined, and spent a significant amount of the project's time on the…
A first-person narrative horror game where earlier choices change what the player encounters later, built as a collaborator's final project. I was sole programmer, handling all core systems: movement, quest logic, NPC pathing and routines, and integrating Narrative Weaver, the tool I built for my…
