I recently completed a BEng (Hons) in Cybersecurity and Forensics at Edinburgh Napier University. Throughout my studies, I developed strong interests in secure software development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and human-centred technology. For my Honours dissertation, I designed and built SYNAPSE, an AI-powered educational platform that helps learners develop secure software development skills through interactive, accessibility-focused learning experiences. The project received outstanding academic feedback, with the dissertation being described as worthy of dissemination, and it led to a tool demonstration paper submission to ICSME. Alongside my studies, I've been building my skills as a full-stack and AI developer — learning by actually shipping real products end to end, from the first idea to a live app. I've taught myself Flutter, Python and FastAPI, databases, AI orchestration across multiple models, and how to deploy and keep a product running on my own server. What started in cybersecurity has grown into a genuine passion for building things people can use. I am ambitious and highly motivated, but I am also aware of how much there is still to learn. Curiosity is one of my strongest qualities. I enjoy exploring new technologies, solving difficult problems, and continuously improving my skills through hands-on experience. I learn best by building, experimenting, and challenging myself. Originally from Italy and now based in the UK, my long-term ambition is to combine software engineering, cybersecurity, and AI to create technology that is secure, accessible, and genuinely useful to people.
A polished business website for Avitel, a high-end smart-home and home automation company (avitel.net), now live and in use. It was a team project, and I was responsible for the development — coding the site from scratch in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and getting it online. Building for a real client…
I built the whole thing on my own — the website, the database, the AI part, and I put it online on my own server and keep it running. Behind the scenes I connected three AI models (Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini) so they work together, and the learner just gets help without having to choose one. I also…
I designed and built Elya entirely on my own — the mobile app, the backend, the database, the AI orchestration, and the server it runs on. It's a language-learning app that blends real conversation with adaptive tutoring: learners can talk (by voice or text) with AI characters and with 12 dedicated…
