Student at Pace university NYC
I'm Abdul Abeshinbioke, founder of ChessRing, a London-based company using chess to tackle workplace wellbeing, community connection, and untapped opportunity in the chess world. I built the business from the ground up, delivering corporate and community events for clients while raising £11,800 in grant funding. I'm currently building ChessRing's digital platform, which will let chess players monetise their skills, connect with the wider chess community, and support Chess in Slums Africa, a charity providing opportunities for children in Nigeria. I'm a graduate of Pace University in New York (Major GPA 3.75, Dean's List), and I combine hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, digital marketing, pitching, and community building with a lifelong passion for chess, which I've taught to students of all ages across schools in London and New York. I've been recognised across multiple entrepreneurship programmes, including as Most Committed and Determined (20/20 Levels) and Outstanding Entrepreneur (Social Ark).
